Great Full-Time Retail Opportunity with Benefits!
We are looking for a Merchandise Sales Associate who will possess strong Girl Scout product knowledge and excellent customer service skills while working in a fast-paced environment. Our Merchandise Sales Associates ensure the shop is stocked and tidy, receive incoming deliveries, process sale transactions on the point-of-sale register, and handle other special projects, as assigned. The Shop staff love all things Girl Scouts!
Is this you?
- Available to work 37.5 hours per week with some combination of shifts from this schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Thursday 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM OR 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM, and Saturday 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM, including at least two Thursday evenings/month and two Saturdays/month.
- Experienced working in a retail store or have recent Girl Scout volunteer experience.
- Thorough and accurate in handling cash, credit card, and check transactions.
- Known for being courteous!
- Excellent verbal skills for exceptional customer service by phone and in person.
- Strong, positive relationship-building skills to work with volunteers, parents, and staff.
- Well-organized and efficient in your work.
- Outstanding computer aptitude and can easily learn new computer programs (i.e., POS register).
- Easily shift between a wide range of tasks with successful outcomes.
